Bring your Clash or Stash config

Rocket Proxy 2.0 reads Clash and Stash YAML in full — proxies, policy groups, rules, providers and DNS. Import your existing subscription once and everything keeps working, including the routing you already rely on.

However your config reaches you

Providers hand out configs in every shape imaginable. Rocket takes all of them.

A subscription link

The usual case. Paste the https:// or clash:// URL your provider gave you and Rocket downloads and parses it.

A YAML file

Already downloaded it? Use Import File — .yaml, .yml, .conf, .txt and .json are all accepted.

Pasted text

Paste Config Text takes a whole YAML document pasted straight from a message or a web page.

A QR code

Scan QR Code opens the camera. Common where configs are shared in group chats and channels.

Your clipboard

Copy a link or a config anywhere on your device and Rocket offers it as From Clipboard the moment you open the importer — nothing to paste.

Plain share links

A list of vmess://, vless://, trojan:// or ss:// links still works exactly as before. Mix them freely.

Step by step

Import a subscription

On iPhone, iPad and Mac. Takes under a minute.

  1. Open the Routing tabTap Routing, then Configuration Files. This is where every config you import lives.
  2. Add a configurationTap + in the top corner to open the importer.
  3. Give Rocket the configPaste your subscription link into Subscription link and tap Import. Or pick any of the other sources above — file, pasted text, QR code or clipboard.
  4. Read the import reportRocket shows exactly what it found: how many proxies, policy groups, rules and providers were read, and anything it could not parse. Nothing is hidden from you.
  5. Activate itOpen the new configuration and tap Activate to start using its proxies, groups and rules. If the tunnel is already running it reloads in place — no disconnect.
  6. Pick your exitGo to Servers. Your policy groups appear there; tap a group to choose a server, or leave it on automatic and let the group decide.
On Apple TV there is no camera, clipboard or file picker, so use the subscription link field — or import on your iPhone and let iCloud sync carry it across.

What gets read

Your whole config, not just the servers

Plenty of apps import the proxy list and quietly discard everything else — which is precisely the part you spent time on. Rocket keeps it.

Proxies

Every server in the file, across all 36 protocol and transport combinations Rocket supports.

Policy groups

select, url-test, fallback, load-balance and relay — including latency testing and automatic failover.

Rules

Domain, suffix, keyword and regex matches, GEOSITE, GEOIP, IP-CIDR, IP-ASN, ports, network type, logical AND/OR/NOT, and MATCH.

Providers

Both rule providers and proxy providers, fetched and refreshed on their own schedule just as your config specifies.

DNS

Your nameservers, fallbacks and fake-IP settings come across with the rest — and Rocket never leaks a query outside the tunnel.

The YAML itself is kept and viewable in the app, so you can always read exactly what you imported.

Day to day

Keeping it current

  1. Update on demandOpen the configuration and tap Update Now to pull the latest version from your provider.
  2. Or let it update itselfTurn on Auto-update and choose an interval. Wi-Fi only keeps it off your cellular data.
  3. Watch your quotaIf your provider reports usage, Rocket shows data used and days remaining right on the configuration, so a subscription never expires as a surprise.
  4. Re-import safelyImporting the same link again refreshes the configuration you already have instead of creating a duplicate. Your selections survive.

If something goes wrong

Common questions

The import failed. Open the link in a browser first. Many providers expire a subscription URL, rate-limit repeated downloads, or require you to log in to the dashboard before the link will serve anything. If the browser cannot fetch it either, the problem is upstream of Rocket.

Some proxies were skipped. The import report names them. A config can legitimately contain a protocol or transport Rocket does not implement; the rest of the file still imports and works.

My rules do not seem to apply. Check that the configuration is the active one — importing does not activate. Open it and tap Activate.

A site broke while connected. Usually a domestic service refusing a foreign exit IP. Install the rule pack for your own country from the Rule Store and those sites go direct while everything else stays tunnelled.

Can I run more than one config? Yes. Keep as many as you like under Configuration Files and switch between them; one is active at a time.
